After a  few years, you might find that your notebook only runs for 20 or 30  minutes on a battery charge, When you can&#8217;t get through a full meeting without  plugging in your laptop, it&#8217;s time to buy a <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aussiebatt.com\/\">replacement laptop battery<\/a><\/strong>. But if  your notebook battery isn&#8217;t charging properly and you haven&#8217;t been using it for  the better part of a presidential term of office, you should want to try a  little troubleshooting tricks first to see if the problem doesn&#8217;t lie elsewhere. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>What to do when your laptop battery won&#8217;t charge<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aussiebatt.com\/dell\/latitude-e4310-batteries.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"478\" height=\"250\" src=\"http:\/\/www.aussiebatt.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/dell-latitude-e4310-battery-1.jpg\" alt=\"Wholesale Dell latitude e4310 laptop batteries\" class=\"wp-image-1999\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.aussiebatt.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/dell-latitude-e4310-battery-1.jpg 478w, https:\/\/www.aussiebatt.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/dell-latitude-e4310-battery-1-300x157.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 478px) 100vw, 478px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Clean the battery contacts<\/strong>. Since you removed the battery anyway,  make sure that the contacts on the battery and the laptop are clean.  Replace the battery and try charging it again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Try charging the laptop with the power off<\/strong>. Some laptops draw a  lot of power &#8212; so much so that they can&#8217;t efficiently charge the  battery and run demanding tasks at the same time. If the battery doesn&#8217;t  seem to be getting fully charged, shut down the laptop entirely and see  how it goes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Try a deep charge<\/strong>. If the battery is in a bad state, you might be  able to bring it back to life with a deep charge cycle. First, make  sure it&#8217;s complete discharged by running the laptop with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aussiebatt.com\/acer\/as10d31-batteries.html\">Acer as10d31 notebook battery<\/a>  installed (and the AC adapter removed) until the laptop completely dies.  Then charge the laptop overnight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Make sure that the AC adapter is working<\/strong>. The problem might also  lie in the power adapter. This one is easy to test: Remove the battery  completely from the laptop and try running the laptop using the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aussiebatt.com\/toshiba-pa3714e-1ac3-ac-adapter.html\">Toshiba PA3714E-1AC3 laptop AC adapter<\/a>.
