Acer Aspire 5520 Laptop is a joy to travel with. I had purchased a Targus lap desk and a Logitech VX Nano mouse before the trip which made using the notebook that much more enjoyable. The laptop felt like it was a little lighter than the old Dell Latitude C600 I used to carry when traveling. I had picked up a spare laptop battery at AussieBatt.com as a second battery in the event I choose to work on the plane or could not find power in the airport.
Instructions for Charging the Acer as07b51 laptop battery
1. Turn off your Acer aspire laptop computer and make sure the battery is secure in its bay. You can locate the battery by turning the computer over. It is a rectangular piece about half the length of the computer and its bay is at the edge of the laptop.
2. Plug your power adaptor into an outlet near the laptop. You can charge and use the laptop while the power is on, but it is recommended that you charge the battery while the power off as it cuts charge time in half.
3. Connect the free cable on ACER Aspire 5920 AC Adapter to your laptop, checking to make sure the red LED battery light is on. This means it’s charging.
4. Remove the AC adapter once it registers a solid green color.
5. Click the “battery” icon on your computer’s desktop. This brings up a menu where you can view the time needed to complete a full charge. When the battery icon reads 100 percent, it is mean your Acer as07b51 battery is fully charged.
